What are the requirements to join?
You should already recite with excellent Tajweed. Every applicant takes an assessment; if more preparation is needed, we'll recommend our advanced Tajweed course first.
Who issues the Ijazah?
The Ijazah is issued by the teacher who listens to your complete recitation, with their Sanad listed on the certificate. This teacher-to-student system is how Quran certification has always worked.
Can sisters receive Ijazah from a female teacher?
Yes. Sisters can complete their Ijazah with a qualified female teacher who holds a Sanad.
